Marcus drove me to my parents' house. I haven't talked to them in about a week.. I think. Me and Marcus waited infront of the door. Marcus held me in his arms. We almost kissed but my dad opened the door. He looked at me like he didn't know me.
"Can I help you... Emma?" It took him about a minute to actually say my name.
"Dad.. I need to ask you something.."
"What happened to Jaylor?" Me and Marcus looked at each other.
"That's not important right now.. I need to know if-"
"You can't stay here. You decided to run away in the first place." I rolled my eyes at him.
